Catharsis (E-Poetry)

 (Note: With this poem, I'm trying to experiment with e-poetry, trying to use internet as a medium, inspired by my friend, former professor and role model Dr. Leonardo Flores. This is a first attempt. Let's see what we can create, shall we?)

Catharsis

Running.

Always

running.

   Running away

  from I don’t know what

            and I don’t know where.

   Feeling like such a goddamned

cliché.

            Lumbering through roads and paths

    Lost and without knowing which trail leads where.

 Totally and completely useless,

                        I know.

                                    Believe me, I know.

It’s amazing how much time you can use up without

                        doing much at all.

And always it is

Running.

Always

running.

Away.

            Running away.
